Personal data
By shopping at Weard, you accept our data protection policy and our processing of your personal information. We respect your personal privacy and do not collect more information than is necessary to process your order. We never sell or pass on your information to third parties unless necessary for legal purposes.
Weard is responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us as a customer. Your personal information is processed by us in order to handle your order, as well as to adapt our marketing processes to your individual needs, for example if you have requested to receive our newsletter or special offers.
The following information is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

10.1 What is personal data?
Personal data is all information that can be directly or indirectly connected to a natural person.


10.2 What personal data do we store?
To manage your order and answer questions related to it (customer service) we store your first name, last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address and purchase history.

Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis for handling your information, for example to complete the agreement between us or to comply with a legal obligation under the Swedish Accounting Act (Bokföringlsagen 1999:1078).

10.3 Legal basis
When you make a purchase, your personal data is processed in order that we can complete our agreement with you. Marketing messages, campaigns and similar mailouts are sent with your consent.


10.4 Which data is shared and with what purpose?

10.4.1 Payment providers
When a purchase is carried out, information is shared with our payment provider. We store your first name, last name, address, email address and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, the identification number (the social security number, i.e. Swedish personnummer) of the payment provider is also saved. The information is saved in order to carry out the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud. The payment provider (payment service) that we use is: Klarna.

10.4.2 Shipping companies
In order to deliver your orders and complete our agreement, we need to share specific information with the shipping company. We share your first name, last name and delivery address with the shipping company. Your email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification purposes.
The shipping companies we work with are: PostNord, Budbee, DHL, Sipmondo & Unifaun.

10.4.3 Newsletters
If you have chosen to subscribe to our newsletter, then we will share your first name, last name and email address with our newsletter provider. This is so that we can keep you updated with information and special offers.
We use Klaviyo to send out newsletters.

10.4.4 SMS marketing
If you have chosen to subscribe to news and offers, your first name, last name, telephone number and e-mail address will be shared with our third-party provider. This is to be able to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes.

10.5 Right to access
You have the right to receive all the information that we have about you. This can be provided electronically in a readable format.


10.6 Right to correction
You have the right to ask us to update incorrect information or to add information that is missing.


10.7 Right to be forgotten
You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time. There are a few exceptions to the right to deletion, such as if it needs to be retained in order for us to meet a legal obligation (for example, under the Swedish Accounting Act).


10.8 Responsibility for Data Protection
Weard is responsible for storing and processing personal data in the online store and ensures that the regulations are followed.


10.9 How we protect your personal data
We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to store, treat and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords safely. We use Shopify as plattform for our webshop.


Changes to general Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms and conditions are published on the website. Use of the website or ordering from it means that you accept the new terms and conditions related to orders or visits to the website.


Disputes and claims
In cases where a dispute cannot be resolved in agreement with the company's customer service and the customer, you can contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes, see https://www.arn.se/om-arn/Languages/english-what-is-arn. If you live in an EU country other than Sweden, you can submit a complaint online via the EU Commission's platform for Online Dispute Resolution, see https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm. In the event of a dispute, we follow decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies. Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
